Critical Mass looks to defend their title when they face the top ranked Texas
Thunder
this week.

CM used big games from Andre Johnson, Antonio Bryant & Maurice Jones Drew
to
best Big Oil Champ LaLaLand in one semi.

Texas Thunder makes their maiden appearance in the big game despite eight
years
of trying.  Thunder rolled behind QB M.Cassel and RB M.Turner to turn
back
upstart  BigV in the other semi.

 Notable:  - Critical Mass seeks to become the first team to win back-to-back titles.
                 - Texas Thunder swept the season series 2-0.
                
- Winner pockets $150, Loser $75.  Third place get $25.

Thunder has yet to win a first round playoff game in the upper bracket.

BigV got off to a sparking 5-1 start despite losing Tom Brady in the first week.   Things tapered off but the team is back in after a three year absence.

Along similar lines......BigV qualified at 7-7, #4 seed in 2004 & upset #1 Critical Mass that year.  Will history repeat?

This team finished the season with a smart W4 streak and was a league best 6-1 in the second half of the regular season.
