Da Bums, one of the leagues charter members, broke through
with a Sunday rally to knock off top-ranked Ludville Nine and
capture the 2008 Baseball Title.

The two-week test pitted the #1 vs. #2 teams and it produced a
very tight back and forth battle royale.  L9 led going into the final
day and Da Bums needed the pitching staff to come through in
order to have a chance.   Things might have looked a bit dim as
the L9 pitching crew had a very nice day  ….  but …. Da Bums
staff represented as evidenced by this Sunday pitching line.

Wow!   Clutch.  Plus, since the game ended with an 11-11
score, tie-breakers came into play. This performance allowed
Da Bums to prevail with a 3.40 ERA compared to L9's 3.65 ERA.
