2003 Baseball Overview

The season is nigh upon us.

 - You will play each team in the league twice.

 - Your head-2-head match-up goes from Sunday-Saturday.  You start you 'next game' next Sunday.

 - There are 24 head-2-head categories.  It is your CUMULATIVE Weekly Scores, based upon your weekly performance in these categories, that determine your standing in the league.

- The Top 6 finishers will compete in the "Championship Playoffs".    The bottom six will be banished to the consolation playoffs.

- I keep team W/L records just for the purpose of determining who the Head-2-Head W/L champ is.   Last year it was PowerWave.    This title, a.k.a "the Al Gore Award",  does not have any impact in the overall standings.

Changes:

a.  Player Pool moves are now capped at 40 per team for the season.

  - This rule is designed to slow player rotations, increase strategy and promote trades.

b.  Minimum Innings Pitched now = 20.
  - Yahoo now allows for a number greater than 10  (yay!)..... 20 seems like a fair number try for the season.

Good luck All!!
